The Alberta has been notified by the developer managing the api that provides the backend search for TAL Online that they are working to resolve an unplanned outage that is adversely affecting TAL Online. TAL will provide updates as they become available.

TAL Online has added filter for languages. Users are now able to filter their search results based on the language the item is cataloged as having.

TAL Online is experiencing an issue that is making it difficult for public library users to request items through TAL Online. We are currently looking into this and will update when we have more more information.

Searching for Items
To search for items in TAL Online, go to talonline.ca and enter search terms to discover the item you are looking for. You can use title, author, subject, isbn and other identifiers or keywords commonly used to discover physical items in TAL Online.
TAL Online is a provincial wide discovery service which allows users to discover and request physical library items from libraries across Alberta. TAL Online connects remotely to library catalogues across Alberta and displays search results for users looking to request items not available at their home library.
